Fast production characteristics
One properly applied coat may be sufficient. Fortify dries to the touch in approximately 30 minutes, with a 2-3-hour recoat time if an additional coat is needed, depending on surface conditions and application requirements.

Up to approximately 400 square feet per gallon, depending on surface porosity and application requirements.
Low-VOC formulation
At approximately 25 g/L, Fortify is 90% below the federal limit for flat exterior coatings (250 g/L) and more than 93% below the federal limit for nonflat exterior coatings (380 g/L). It is also 50% below the 50 g/L flat and nonflat benchmark in California's CARB Suggested Control Measure and South Coast AQMD Rule 1113. California requirements are applied by local air districts, so the applicable district rule should be confirmed.
